The newest “omics” is culturomics; see Quantitative Analysis of Culture Using Millions of Digitized Books in Science. It is one of the few “omics” that doesn’t use mass spectrometry, but it can be used to learn about mass spectrometry (via).
The standard atomic weight of germanium has been changed and the atomic weights of H, Li, B. C. N, O, Si, S, Cl, and Tl are expressed as an interval. For example, the standard atomic weight of carbon is expressed as 12.0096 ≤ Ar(C) ≤ 12.0116. See Atomic weights of the elements 2009 (IUPAC Technical Report) (via).
