DRAFT DEFINITION
Curved field reflectron
A reflectron in which the retarding field is non-linear. The voltages on the lens elements follow the equation of an arc of a circle according to R2 = V2 + x2, where x is the the distance from the reflectron entrance, V is the voltage and R is a constant.
Considered between 2004 and 2006 but not included in the 2006 PAC submission
