If you would like to add external links or related terms, you should do that on the main page. If you wish to comment on issues related to the term, use the discussion tab, for example Help_talk:Adding_Content is the discussion link for this page.

If you have a definition that you would like to have considered, find (or create) the appropriate and use the Suggested Definition template.

Another place to add content is to create links in to orphaned pages, content for wanted pages that are linked but blank, or outbound links for Dead End pages. Stub pages are also in need of content and there is a general Maintenance page.
