IUPAC. Analytical Division. Compendium of Analytical Nomenclature (the “Orange Book”). Definitive Rules, 1979.
This term is only to be used to denote the complete random mixing of isotopes between specified positions in an ion or neutral species. The term 'partial scrambling' is not recommended.
