A mode of ion ejection in a quadrupole ion trap that relies on a auxiliary radio frequency voltage that is applied to the end-cap electrodes. The voltage is tuned to the secular frequency of a particular ion to eject it.
Considered between 2004 and 2006 but not included in the 2006 PAC submission
