The Mass Spectrometry Terms and Definitions project was sponsored by the IUPAC Analytical Chemistry Division (Division V) and Physical and Biophysical Chemistry Division (Division I) from 2004–2007. Task Group Members were Kermit K. Murray (Chair), Robert K. Boyd, Marcos N. Eberlin, G. John Langley, Liang Li, and Yasuhide Naito. The recommendations were published in 2013.
